Finally, a super hero we can believe in!This short and action packed book is a blast to read! It is full of unique characters who do absurd things in absurd situations while saying absurd things to each other to relate their absurd logic. Hanan has combed the literature, inclucing very recent developments, with a fine-tooth comb. It becomes clear to Neal that Meyersohn picking up a sick, half-starved homeless person and moving him into his apartment just plays into this man's inexplicable urge to degrade himself. He had as much charisma as Elvis, as much innovative talent as Chuck Berry, as much potential as Buddy Holly, and as phenomenal as it sounds, somehow managed to stay hidden in the shadows. Meyersohn lives in an orderly apartment and lives a life of self-inflicted embarrassment. Had I started with the book that was about the aunt in the story, it might have flowed better.
