Absorbing and touching.. Helicopters? Check. Kids are not bored reading these. Love these books and my students do, too! Have bought several and will continue to do so. As a teacher, I would recommend it for an elementary classroom.. Overall, this is a fascinating and comprehensive 'how-to' manual that offers a framework for integrating all aspects of our lives, as well as both Western and Eastern ways of being in the world, in our pursuit of happiness.. I guess you could say that it provides a pretty good insight to the gay "culture" in contemporary urban NZ.While this book won't be for everyone, it is certainly a thought provoking and ultimately very powerful novel.. Certainly not enough to distract from the rich and very useful material, however. However, they (many of them at least) have never managed projects in their life time and so, it astonishes me that PMI goes to them for advice.Weak book, full of wrong predictions and non related articles. Author Klise knows her audience: bad puns flow as freely as water and the plot is just convoluted enough to challenge kids without frustrating them. Sarah Klise adorn every page, with "snapshots" of the fifth-grade class, pages from the local paper, and coffee-stained While You Were Out notices thickening the stew. The emphasis on visual elements should make the book a hit with kids who claim they don't like to read. How could a simple request for a new water fountain go so very, very off-track? When Principal Wally Russ writes to fountain designer Florence Waters to ask her to replace Dry Creek Middle School's busted drinking fountain, he little suspects that he is sparking the imagination of an artiste.
