. Niels JFurther, it is well priced. 'Blunch has produced a useful addition to the catalogue of introductory SEM textbooksHe differentiates his texts from others by orienting all of his examples around a single SEM software package, by almost exclusively using the programming interface of AMOS, and by including a chapter on PCA and EFA' - The American Statistician 'Here's a bottom line for this book: Read it along with a beginning student trying a first CFA or SEM. I end in Danish with tusind tak thousand thanks to Professor Blunch' - Personnel Psychology 'The book is under 300 pages but is surprisingly thorough. The psychometrics background and frequent words of caution about drawing conclusions about causality and constant reminders of the importance of models being theoretically grounded keep the reader well aware of modeling reality within SEM, information that is often overThe FSH will tell you if you have enough estrogen but says nothing about the ratio I am referring to. Overall a interesting story but lacked the fine detail and minutiae that makes a good book great. It will be good for us all. Wonder's First Race in one of my many favorites in the seris.. Personally I thought this was a nice fun read. To paint this portrait the author delineates the man in the shadows with the words and stories of his friends, fans, family and of course the musicians, singers, and songwriters of the 50s and 60s whom Bob Gibson affected.Only after you read the book will you understand why she chose to tell the story in this manner. In the same way, we need to be sure that we're actually seeing people as God sees them. Very realistic story which actually allows the reader to step into the story. Daniel Scott tells these stories in a standard issue working-class shtick, using simple declarative sentences, the smug irony of none-too-bright narrators, and the catalog of dirty realistic detail found in doublewides. Several members of the group did not contribute to the case studies but well could have. Their presentation sheds some light on the town's wIllustrated with screenshots, cases and exercises and accompanied by a companion website containing datasets that can be easily uploaded onto SPSS and AMOS, this handy introduction keeps maths to a minimum and contains an appendix covering basic forms of statistical analysis.. New software (Lisrel and AMOS) has made the techniques of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) increasingly available to students and researchers, while the recent adoption of AMOS as part of the SPSS suite has improved access still further. As an alternative to existing books on the subject, which are customarily very long, very high-level and very mathematical, not to mention expensive, Niels Blunch's introduction has been designed for advanced undergraduates and Masters students who are new to SEM and still relatively new to statistics
