This was a replacement book for my 82 yr old mom who has a collection of these little books and loves them. And, you can learn as little or as much about geology as you want with the well-written and succinct "Introduction and Short History of the Earth". The real power that comes from this book is that now, when I go to see my child's asthma specialist, I can ask informed questions about my son's condition. The best section of the book is the chapter on position routes The book is very comprehensive and would help pool players who are at least a B or A rating..
